Jean-Paul REEFF
President

Jean-Paul is an independent consultant and a senior consultant for the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF) in the fields of research and innovation management, and of international cooperation. He holds degrees in psychology, physics and computer sciences, and a PhD in experimental psychology. He has a strong background in assessment and evaluation, as well as in technology-based learning and assessment. Jean-Paul’s consultancy focuses on initiating and accompanying large-scale interdisciplinary projects, on technology transfer, and on acting as a broker between research, policy and practice. He is a board member of the Luxembourg “International Innovation Management and Consulting S.A.”. Most recently he became the president of the Togo “Africa Innovation Management S.A.”

Ayemi LAWANI
Executive Director

Ayemi specializes in international development (governance, community organizing, social entrepreneurship, civic engagement) and program management and evaluation. He has served as consultant for government agencies and various non-profit organizations in the US, Canada and Togo. Prior to his current positions, Ayemi worked on a federal research-funding program for the Canadian government in Ottawa and held positions in international organizations such as the Carter Center in Atlanta and Ashoka in Arlington. He has an extensive experience in social research, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and project management. Ayemi holds a PhD in sociology of development from the University of Montreal (Canada), a Master of Public Administration from the University of Delaware (USA), and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Lome (Togo).

Edna CHEPKURUI
Head of Nairobi Office

Edna is a specialist in Media, Public Relations, Public-Private Partnerships Programs and Project Management.  She has experience in international projects management having served for 5 years as Kenya Country Consultant for GfK-Verein’s Future and University Project.  Her other expertise include social media strategy, civic engagement, community mobilization, social entrepreneurship and social/media research.  Edna holds an MA in Media & Communication and a BA in Journalism (Broadcast & PR) both from United States International University- Africa, Nairobi, Kenya.  She has Co-published in the Journal of African Journalism Studies.
